Feeling Weird

The Flying Seed

“This is a time to feel uncomfortable, this is a time to feel weird. This isn’t your season to feel certain. This is not your season to feel sure of yourself or to even feel earthed and grounded. You long for grounding, you long for sturdy. But you are growing. Your are reaching new heights and you have not made roots here yet. If you focus on keeping your head in the dirt you will not be challenging yourself to expand into this new territory.

Your experience right now is like the seed that has been caught by the spirit of the wind,

being carried away.

You are soaring in the air feeling this must be wrong because you are a seed and you have a knowing that you should be in dirt. This is true. You have been created to be in dirt. But in this moment you are as exactly as you shall be. Your adventure in this air carrying you out might make you feel exposed to your weakness. It might make you crave for your shelter. But this step is needed. For the wind knows the place exactly where it will have you land. The wind knows the bigger plan.

Trust and embrace this part where you feel so weird.

Trust that yes you feel weird on purpose.

You are a seed in the air.

This is not your true destination,

this is not what your hearts purpose is here.

 Yes these things are true.

But you are still exactly where you should be right now.

So stop trying to fall into the ground too soon.

Let go and let the wind take you.

For these sights and experiences will imprint spirit into your core for when it is time to take root.

You are not wrong to feel weird but don’t judge the weird and try to escape it.

Embrace it.

Embrace it.

Embrace it.

Let room for this feeling in your heart.

The wind has its plan. Trust you will find yourself on the right land. Your heart will soar, for you will know it is the home for where you will grow & grow.

But right now give it a chance to light the spark within to know

This too is for your heart

So don’t fight it so

Just let go”

Whispered words to me in my meditation today.

The past few days I have been feeling weird. Unsettled. I kept hearing my harsh voice saying, “why aren’t you grounded?” Get back into a better routine, sit and meditate till you feel more grounded! Why aren’t you feeling more grounded yet?! You’re doing something wrong. You’ve come so far, how can you let your progress slip. You were so aligned just before. Now where is your center?”

Today I feel my angels have helped me by whispering those words above from the meditation to me. For I didn’t even realize what I was truly doing. I was fighting my current reality. Anyone remember last week’s post? Yep. Days later this pull to fight, this pull to judge my present experience already activated within my mind. This is an ever learning lesson. Because there are so many ways it can sneak into our way of thinking. I am so thankful for today I realized that me thinking I must FEEL grounded right now, is what was unaligning me the most. Convincing myself that my experience was wrong. Because it felt weird. My ego is just craving safety and that’s okay. That’s what the ego does. It’s just doing its job and I thank it. Though I must know the higher truth here. The truth of – if I stop questioning my experience as wrong, and instead witness it as true what I might learn about my present circumstances. Today the whispers in meditation, reminded me of the seed traveling in the wind. To teach me this too has its place, its reason. That it is natural for me to experience this weirdness.

It is how I respond to this weirdness that pains me. I no longer need to respond in fright or in judgment. I can learn to respond to weirdness in trust and acceptance.

With faith in a bigger plan and I will find land again when it is the right time.

So if you too are a flying seed right now, I just want to say hi. I’m up here too, a little scared and very uncomfortable. Nice to see another and be together on this wild ride.

I wish you well and the best, most perfect land to be planted and feel at home.
